Target Corporation

TARGET was well into construction of their new Southwest corporate offices when they contacted Otto Rigan to design an entry sculpture. Their assumption was to have a sculpture placed placed between the main entry and a parking structure at the center of a traffic roundabout. The Artist proposed creating a sequence of sculpture elements leading from the roundabout to the front entry. This way, rather than being an object, the sculpture installation would act as a procession leading the visitor towards their destination.

The sculptures are fabricated from solid limestone blocks and laminated, mirrored glass.
