Mesa Community College

The main campus of Mesa Community College (Mesa, AZ) had been long established when the campus sponsored a competition for a sculpture to be placed in an open grassy area. Since this grassy area adjoined the campuses bookstore, the Artist decided to create a sitting space rather than a sculpture. The only tree in the open space was included in the sitting circle: an invitation to be part of five way "conversation."
